Catnip Leaf Pendant in Fine Silver

This One of a Kind Catnip Pendant was created using a real catnip leaf. Thin layers of Metal Clay paste were painted onto the leaf until there was a substantial thickness. It was then fired in a kiln where the leaf completely burn away leaving its impression in solid .999 fine silver. A sterling Silver ring was then attached and fused closed before finally adding a patina to bring out all the details.
