Grape Leaf Pendant in Fine Silver

This One of a Kind Pendant was created using a real grape leaf. Thin layers of Metal Clay paste were painted onto the leaf until there was a substantial thickness. A vine, also made from Metal Clay was added for the bail, before being fired in a kiln where the leaf completely burn away leaving its impression in solid .999 fine silver. Finally a patina is applied to bring out all the details.
